I have been an outpatient of Dr Somalanka for just over eight months. He listens to questions , answers them willingly, takes time over consultations and explains the medical reasons for tweaking prescriptions to improve long term health. I was impressed with the timeliness of initial medical tests and subsequent appointments. I appreciate his medical knowledge in nephrology and have confidence with his decisions and advice.

Dr Somalanka always shows great care and understanding during my clinic visits and nothing is too much trouble, he will phone you when needed to pass on information regarding test results or if further rests are needed. He also has a very good secretary who is very helpful with any enquires either by phone or email.

I am really very pleased to express my gratitude and appreciation for Dr Subash Somalanka who is my consultant Nephrologist. Being suddenly diagnosed with a kidney disease along with other complications I have been in a very uncertain state both physically and mentally. I owe the progress of my health along with my mental well-being to Dr Somalanka as it is his expert medical guidance and his understanding and empathetic and kind nature that has changed my situation into a positive recovery stage. His genuine concern towards his patient’s well-being and recovery is beyond remarkable. I am very confident of my positive progress towards my condition as I completely trust Dr Somalanka’s professional medical guidance. He is indeed a massive value to the NHS and I am so thankful that I am under his medical care.

Dr Somalanka has gone above and beyond throughout my care on dialysis since the very beginning. He is undoubtedly an exemplary medical consultant. He is compassionate, kind, friendly, as well as knowledgeable and reassuring. I have always felt that if I needed some advice or felt like something didn't feel right, he was always there to listen. I would recommend him without reservation.
